Burns Open, a companion journal to the respected Burns, is open access, peer-reviewed international journal that aims to foster the exchange of information in burn care among practitioners and others interested in the field. The journal is published in collaboration with the International Society for Burn Injuries. The journal publishes articles related to the incidence and epidemiology of burns, Burn disasters, investigation of the underlying pathophysiology of injury, treatment of burn wounds and other skin conditions including rehabilitation and reconstruction, and outcomes of burn management.
